HISTORY
A Legacy Built Since 1952
Folks DFK’s story began in 1952 under the name Yeo Yong Poh & Co — founded on professional rigour, independence, and integrity.
Over the decades, the firm strengthened its foundation through strategic mergers:
• C.K. Ooi & Co
• Khoo & Associates
• Azman, Wong, Salleh & Co (established 1964)
In 1990, we became a member of DFK International — joining a respected global association of independent accounting and advisory firms — and assumed the name that represents us today.
In 2006, the practices of Folks DFK and Azman, Wong, Salleh & Co came together under a unified partnership, marking a defining moment in our evolution.
Today, Folks DFK Group is headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, with branches and affiliated offices across Malaysia, and access to over 430 offices in more than 90 countries through the DFK International network.
We are proud to be:

• Registered with the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB)
